Peachy Salmon. Color starts more salmon pink and fades as the flowers age.
Butterfly Ranunculus... ahhh. A prolific bloomer in early Spring, and very unique! A cross between ranunculus and we aren't exactly sure what. Recently developed by the Japanese, and only introduced to the United States a few years ago. It was love at first sight! The petals shimmer and the flowers have a nice vase life. It's a Spring favorite!
We grow under the same conditions as regular ranunculus, except we give these plants more space to grow.
Butterfly Ranunculus can be Fall planted in Zones 7 or higher. If you live in a colder climate, you can plant these corms in early Spring.
Our rule of thumb is to cover Butterfly Ranunculus with a frost protection when temps dip below freezing. Plant in well draining soil. -
